Answers to the most frequently asked questions to help you plan your stay at Hotel La Fenice et Des Artistes.

How can I cancel or modify an existing reservation?

To cancel or modify a direct reservation, please contact us by email at fenice@fenicehotels.it or by telephone at +39 041 5232333.

If the reservation was made through other channels, online portals or agencies, you will need to contact the website or agency of origin directly.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served in our breakfast room from 7:00 am to 10:00 am.

How much does breakfast cost?

When not included in the room rate, breakfast can be purchased at the price of € 15.00 per person.

Breakfast is free for children aged 0 to 2; for children aged 3 to 10 the cost is € 8.00. Room service breakfast is also available with a supplement of € 8.00 per day.

Do you offer gluten-free or lactose-free products?

Upon request, we offer high-quality packaged gluten-free products for breakfast. Lactose-free products are also available.

We kindly ask you to inform us of any dietary requirements before your arrival.

Is the city tax included?

No, the city tax is not included in the room rate. The cost is € 3.50 per adult, per night, up to a maximum of 5 nights.

Children under 10 years old are exempt; children aged 10 to under 16 pay half price.

Does the Hotel have a lift?

Yes, the Hotel has two lifts reaching the third floor. For rooms located on the fourth floor, it is necessary to climb the last flight of stairs.

Is the Hotel accessible for guests with disabilities?

Unfortunately, the Hotel does not have rooms equipped to welcome guests with disabilities.

Do the rooms have air conditioning?

Yes, all our rooms have air conditioning, active during the summer season.

Do you have connecting rooms?

Yes, we have a limited number of connecting rooms. If needed, we recommend requesting them well in advance.

Do you have rooms suitable for families?

Yes, the Hotel has family rooms suitable for families of up to 4 people.

Are the rooms carpet-free?

Almost all our rooms are carpet-free.

Do the bathrooms have a bathtub or shower?

We have rooms with bathrooms equipped with a shower and rooms with bathrooms equipped with a bathtub. Please contact us in advance if you have a particular preference.

Do the rooms have a minibar?

Yes, all rooms are equipped with a minibar. Upon arrival you will find 2 complimentary bottles of water. Other drinks are available upon request.

Do the rooms have a kettle?

The rooms do not have a kettle.

Do the rooms have a safe?

Yes, all rooms are equipped with an electronic safe or a key safe.

Do you have baby cots available?

Yes, for children under 3 years old it is possible to add a cot free of charge in the parents’ room.

Availability is limited, so we recommend requesting it at the time of booking.

Is a babysitting service available?

Babysitting service is available upon request. We recommend requesting it at the time of booking.

Are pets allowed?

Small pets are welcome, provided they are not left alone in the room.

We kindly ask you to inform us in advance and to book directly with the Hotel or through our official website.

Are non-smoking rooms available?

Yes, all our rooms are non-smoking.

Is an iron available in the room?

For safety reasons, the use of an iron is not allowed in the rooms. However, a vertical steam iron is available upon request.

Is a laundry service available?

The Hotel does not have an in-house laundry service, but works with an external laundry offering express service within 24 hours, excluding Sundays and public holidays.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, high-speed Wi-Fi is free of charge and available without limits in the rooms and common areas. The password is provided at check-in.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is available from 3:00 pm. Check-out must be completed by 11:00 am.

Is luggage storage available?

Yes, luggage belonging to arriving or departing guests can be stored free of charge in our luggage room.

What are the Reception opening hours?

Reception is open 24 hours a day.

Which documents do we need to present at check-in?

Upon arrival, it will be necessary to present a valid identity document: identity card, passport, residence permit or equivalent document.

How can I reach the Hotel?

By car: you can park at Tronchetto Island or in one of the garages at Piazzale Roma. From there, take vaporetto Line 1 and get off at the Sant’Angelo stop.

By train: from Venezia Santa Lucia Railway Station, you can take vaporetto Line 1 and get off at the Sant’Angelo stop.

By plane: from Marco Polo Airport, you can use the Alilaguna service, Orange Line, and get off at the Sant’Angelo stop.

It is also possible to reach the Hotel by private water taxi, which will take you just a few metres from the property.

Where can I park my car?

The Hotel does not have its own car park — we are in Venice — but you can leave your car at Tronchetto Island or in one of the garages at Piazzale Roma.

By choosing Garage San Marco in Piazzale Roma, you can benefit from a 10% discount by showing the payment receipt issued by the Hotel. Booking through the garage website is recommended, selecting our Hotel in the section dedicated to partner agreements.

Does the Hotel offer a booking service for tours, museums or activities?

On our website, in the dedicated section, it is possible to book a selection of tours, tickets and activities.

During your stay, the Reception staff will also be at your disposal for information and assistance regarding museums, concerts, tours, taxis and other services.

Where are the nearest vaporetto stops?

The nearest stop is Sant’Angelo, about 5 minutes on foot from the Hotel, served by Line 1.

Less than 10 minutes on foot away you will also find the Rialto and San Marco – Calle Vallaresso stops.
